hi we have a rouge magpie killing the baby bluetits that have nested in next doors bird box my hubby has made 4 magpie proof bird boxs two self contained flats in each and we are having a lot of sucess with our sparrows all busy fetching food for them i put out porrige oats every morning and plenty of water saves the female sparrows wearing them selves out also pete my wild pidgeon and the blackbirds two all enjoy them

he has built a birdhouse within another so the magpie can only reach the first hole but the second hole is just a little bit further on in so magpies beaks can,t reach we are getting a lot of sucess he has made six box,s both doubles so two can nest either end
