The Lifelong Learning team (field teachers from the sticks and keyboard-thumpers from Wales HQ) have been busy buzzing about Wales this summer. We've been helping at events and giving children, young people and families lots of things to do. We've even raised a bit of dosh!
We've been spotted at places such as the Hay Festival, the Welsh Agricultural Show in Llanelwedd, Llancaiach Fawr near Nelson, the Big Cheese in Caerffili and the National Eisteddfod near Wrecsam. We even turned up at Cei Cydweli (Kidwelly Quay) along with 230 Guides, Brownies and Rainbows and a van-load of portaloos. We've done pond-dipping, sweep-netting, bungee-crabbing, nature trails, town trails, quizzes, bird-watching, wild writing, face-painting, badge-making, bird masks, dragonfly-making and much, much more. And all this before the summer weather's really kicked in!
Well done, team, and plenty more to come! Watch this space ....
