It’s been a busy week at the Wales HQ office, with inductions being held for two of our new starters. Cara Walker, our new Mid Wales recruiter got off to a flying start (sorry, couldn’t resist) when she teamed up with James at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in South Wales. They finished the day with a total of five memberships between them, a good result even for seasoned recruiters, so well done Cara!
Cara will be visiting our beautiful RSPB Lake Vyrnwy reserve next week with her team mate for the season, Hannah. If you haven’t been there yourself I would definitely recommend it, there’s lots to see and the staff on site are lovely. The rest of the week they are at various locations in Aberystwyth. On Thursday 3 and Friday 4 April we will be at the University, in the IBERS and Arts Centre buildings. On Saturday 5 April we are taking our stand to Aberystwyth Farmers Market. We will also be at the Natural Resources Wales site - Bwlch Nant yr Arian near Ponterwyd as usual from Thursday – Sunday.
The South Wales team will be preparing for the busy season ahead and finishing the week at South Wales Game and Country Fair. The event is being held at Fonmon Castle on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6. We will also be at the Newport Baby and Toddler Show, which is taking place at the Hilton Hotel. These are both new events for the team so we are hoping to add them to our plans for future years – watch this space!
