If you’ve taken part in our campaign against the M4 motorway you’ll be aware that the Welsh Government was launching a public inquiry this autumn. The Minister responsible for the project, Ken Skates, has recently announced that the public inquiry is being delayed (although it will start by 31st March 2017at the latest). The reason for the delay is said to be the production by the Department for Transport (UK) of a new formula for modeling traffic projections across the UK. As a result the Welsh Government have announced they are re-evaluating their evidence ahead of the inquiry which was due to commence on 1st November. We are busy working on preparing our evidence for the inquiry and await the announcement of its new start date. We will keep you informed via this blog as new developments come to light.
Thank you for your continued support.
