I thought i'd kick this thread off by seeing if anybody is planning on doing something for nature with their school grounds this year? Whether it's a new pond, a bird feeding table or a themed area devoted to wildlife, it'd be great to hear about it.
We're leaving a corner of our school grounds to go wild, so we can monitor the changes. We've also been collecting bits of brick and wood so that we can make a wildlife stack, I'm going to make up some charts for my class so they can keep a check on all the little creepie crawlies - i'm hoping they'll come to like them more than me!
I saw a great article in the Guardian about creating a mini wildife stack that you might find useful
