During my Big Garden Bird Watch in Co Down at 2.15pm on 27th a male Sparrowhawk flew in and as the little birds scattered for safety into the foliage the Sparrowhawk landed and perched on the feeder stand! Unfortunately not long enough for me to get my camera, and he flew off still hungry!
