Well after complaining that last week I had days of seeing no birds at all, today some came back.
Did the watch between 8 and 9 am and saw 3 blackbirds, 2 robins, 2 wood pigeons, 3 starlings and a blue tit. Have been on the look-out off and on during the day but nothing at all again. The song thrush was singing really loudly from somewhere, but couldn't see it. So glad I decided to do the watch early on - the early bird catches the worm!!
