You may have noticed a few changes around here. We’re changing because the world is changing. We’ve a new look and feel to better reflect the work we are doing to protect the birds, wildlife, and wild spaces you love – now and in the future.

With the rebrand comes a change in the imagery we use, an important asset to RSPB as it allows us to communicate, engage and react to the ever-changing world around us by showing the conservation work we are doing to help our audiences understand how they are helping and inspired them to act further in supporting us.

With that in mind, we have an exciting new challenge exclusive to Local Groups in Northern Ireland. We’re asking for your help in highlighting the work, wildlife, birds and environment around us through photography.

There are four categories to submit:

  • Human connection – creating empathy with birds and wildlife
  • Micro photography – looking at the bigger picture grounded in the detail from ground level
  • Macro photography – looking at the bigger picture grounded in the detail from above
  • Connecting to nature – celebrating people who are enjoying the world of nature

To see the full breakdown of imagery guidelines alongside examples of each category please see PDF attached.
