Well I saw him bring in 2 half-or-less fish yesterday for his boys - EJ completely outshone him.

The shadow on the nest has been puzzling me - how come I hadn't noticed before yesterday that it's the wrong shape? It should be more like a bell tower.

Rowan came for it but took his time claiming it: EJ stayed 6 minutes, Willow turned up and is currently patiently ;-) waiting. I'm not really here, I'm in that "don't know what to do with myself" state :(

Both boys were on the nest earlier (not sure exactly when but probably 10.30) with Rowan tucking into a large fish. Willow was on the nest too, calling and hoping! Rowan had his fill, but didn't relinquish the fish immediately and eventually Willow plucked up the courage to advance... and Rowan flew off, leaving the remains for Willow to enjoy. He has probably been eating for just over 30 minutes. I snipped this at 10.58hr just after Rowan had left
As I haven't been here for over a week, I am not sure what the dark shadow is in the foreground. A stick too close to the lens perhaps?
11.35 Willow is still holding his tail end, but spending a lot of time looking around.

I learned the correct way of pronouncing the name of the tree years ago, when I was politely advised by a Scot!! Never to be forgotten!
