A belated Happy New Year to all.
After what was another good year, under somewhat challenging weather conditions for many of us, the thread certainly delivered some fabulous photos, so to kickstart 2024 off, I managed, (only just though) to get my first sunrise of 2024.
For those who want to look back here's the link for "Sunrises and Sunsets 2023: Share your photos here...."

and to try and put a bit of sparkle, using the Star 6 filter.

Brandon 01 Feb, a nice colourful dawn sky
A nice, but not overly spectacular, sunrise.
To think it's been almost two whole months without a photo of a sunrise or sunset, tells a story....
Not quite a sunrise this morning (10th April), it was a little before sunrise time, but the first colourful start to the day for a long time.
Another sunrise, but still something of a rare commodity this year so far....
This time over East Marsh Pool, Brandon Marsh 11 April 2024
16th April, the sunrise was very radiant
Star 6 filter used
30th April
and with a Star6 filter for effect...
Probably one of the last sunrises I'll capture before late summer/early autumn, and one with mist rising from the pool.
O I really like that one PR. - there is something a bit ethereal about it

I could have taken one just like that Mike.... without any detail... a proper pea souper this morning!
Sunset from west bedroom window a couple of days ago
Cropping out
A bit later, looking like the fires of hell.
Sunrise from east bedroom window about a week ago. Shame about the oak branch.
