Congratulations on being over your goal, Clare, and best wishes to both of you, Clare and Limpy, in dealing with this challenge in your lives. Perhaps you could up your goal to £500 and see what happens!
Kind regards, Ann

I'm not sure how to change the target - it imposed the £340 one randomly!!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
In reply to Clare:
Looking forward to Sunday - it promises to be sunny, but not too hot. Many thanks for everyone who has supported me (and Limpy!). It's enormously appreciated!
Best to take your brolly just in case!!
Lot to learn

The weather here is so unpredictable at the moment. We had people turning up at Minsmere yesterday in warm coats and woolly hats!
Best wishes for Sunday, Clare. Please may we have a pic of you in your woolly hat?!
Good morning, all! It's going to be a cool day for June but at least it should stay dry. Ann, there will be no woolly hat!!
Limpy is 64 today and we'll probably head to Minsmere for lunch afterwards.
Good luck for the walk, Clare. Hope it goes well. Happy Birthday to Limpy.

It went very well and I'm absolutely knackered. Really glad I did it, though - the atmosphere was great and there were a few people about we knew. Inevitably I took my camera with me - including the big lens - only to have the wished-for buzzard appear just as I reached the finishing line!!
