"Home, home again. I like to be here when I can..."
Nice to have a patient subject who doesn't mind the camera. No cropping required :-)

Absolutely beautiful! What an expressive bird.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Gorgeous photos MC,he does look very calm actually!Lovely feather detail and bright eyes. The Robins in my garden disappeared about 2-3 months ago,but one has returned and has been ditting loudly from the washing line for the past few days.It was lovely to see ( and hear) one again

Like these...?
Exactly :) !!
I will have to make a new perch for him, one which is slightly higher off the ground, but low enough to give him access to his feeding bowl and still give a decent view of the surrounding area.
Two more, this time from this morning (Wednesday).
Absolutely enchanting, thanks for posting these wonderful pics MC!

The sheer wonder of this thread just goes on - another lovely pair of pictures! One of the nicest things about this time of year is that I'm increasingly hearing robins singing all over my home town. Beautiful.
Gorgeous photos MC - he really isn't camera shy is he? Lovely.
