Why are our Birds in decline, not to mention Bees, and Butterflies?

Hello dear folk,

Have joined this forum in the hope that someone may be able to further investigate, research, debate, or possibly even know, why our bird, bee, and butterfly populations are in demise, not just hear in Britain, but statistically throughout the world.

I will try and add a link that may add fuel to the debate, however info as to where to find this informative documentary, spoken with an English accent (sometimes important), will follow regardless.

One other little thing;  In my mothers garden for at least a couple of years, there has appeared a lovely blackbird with what can only be described as a white collar, patchy towards the rump of it's back. It is a male blackbird and the female mate is as usual a dark brown and seemingly normal.

Thanks for you time, and let's hope among other things we all survive this prolonged and rather late winter. Regards D

Ps I do understand that within my small scope of research, the increased use of pesticides is a contributing factor and no helpful matter to these animals.
