Hello Folks! Flowers not only decorate our meadows, our woodlands, our roadsides with splashes of colour, but they also provide food and shelter for a whole host of insects. We have only to look at UK flowers to appreciate their beauty, their scent, their diversity. Each Monday for 12 weeks I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify the UK flower. On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. On Friday I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest.Keep a note of each species, as I will be asking which is the odd one out at the end of the quiz.MYSTERY FLOWER QUIZ#3Not enough to confuse Miss Piggy.
Clue: No tubercle for me, else I'll croak.

Indeed! Or frog-bit. It's the 'confuse' part of the first clue that I can't quite tie in anywhere!
Perhaps the 'not enough' refers to a 'bit', so I'm plumping for 'Frog-bit'!! Lol!

Not enough still keeps me thinking LESSER.
is there a lesser frog orchid
It might not 'confuse Miss Piggy' but it has confused me! ....'not enough' could mean a rare plant or a lesser or scarce... tubercle are found on roots. I am still leaning towards Frogbit, although it is not rare on my pond!

Could the "confuse" mean it's an anagram of "Miss Piggy"?

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

No anagrams this time folks, just a Muppets reference.
In which case I too will go for lesser sow thistle, although I know it doesn't fit all of the clue.
