Hello Folks! Flowers not only decorate our meadows, our woodlands, our roadsides with splashes of colour, but they also provide food and shelter for a whole host of insects. We have only to look at UK flowers to appreciate their beauty, their scent, their diversity. Each Monday for 12 weeks I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify the UK flower. On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. On Friday I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest.Keep a note of each species, as I will be asking which is the odd one out at the end of the quiz.MYSTERY FLOWER QUIZ#3Not enough to confuse Miss Piggy.

Sow Thistle, Pignut, Hogweed - I can always hear an early Genesis song in my head when Hogweed is mentioned, Ooh Frogbit (well it might not confuse Miss Piggy). I am working on the principle that if I come up with enough names one might be right :)

Wondered if it might actually be something along the lines of Frog-bit or a Frog orchid (as in Kermit) or maybe Toadflax! A toad's not to be confused with a frog??

maybe "not enough "means rare.
I have found a rare one but will put it on later.
Could be barking up the wrong tree though. first thought it was an anagram
I think a Sow Thistle of some sort as it's Miss Piggy but I'm puzzled about the "confuse" bit.

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
