Yes - Ray and Galatas are correct - it's a lovely redwing. I was really shocked when it landed in my tree in Feb - but I couldn't snap it as I was on the phone! It came back the next day and I wandered across the house trying to capture it through the trees, but couldn't get a clear shot - this is the best I could do
For the next few weeks we spotted it every now and then in a neighbour.s tree, it was always alone. Btw Galatas - how d'ya know it was taken in March?

Details about the model of camera and the settings used , time and date taken etc are embedded in digital pictures as metadata. Photo editing software or small (free) programmes or plugins can be used to read this information unless the owner has deliberately chosen to remove the data.
