If like us, you are wondering where the summer has gone, why not tell us if the wet weather has stopped you from venturing out and about.
Not entirely. Of course I haven't always been able to get out on some of the worst days , but there's usually been a couple of dry days in between the wet ones so I've still been out at least 2 or 3 times per week.

It has restricted me because my local patch has been flooded several times this year.

As above, restricted, but certainly not stopped! Any dry lunch hour, or morning / evening before and after work, I'm out (and weekends of course!)
Edit: The good news is that we may *finally* get some decent weather as the displaced jetstream is apparently starting to show signs of moving back to where it ought to be! :-)

One of my local spots just a few days apart.
Blimey!
Not at all restricted from the point of view of getting out everyday - the dogs need walkies, but how far they were walked and for how long is another matter entirely! We are lucky not to have had any flooding here. We had a week in Suffolk when some of the roads were flooded, but we still went to different places every day including Minsmere (also flooded in parts), then a week in Pembrokeshire where we only got wet once, so not too bad for us really. At the end of the day, rain doesn't do us any harm. We don't rust.
Cheers, Linda.

Speak for yourself. I think that's why my knees are creaking. LOL

There were nesting Oystercatchers , Redshank , Shelduck and Pochard there. Luckily we think all the young were old enough to move to higher ground. The water level has been high for weeks but not as extreme as that weekend. It returned to the previous level almost as quickly as it had risen.

Its better to burn out than fade away .
