Had to be Purple Emperor as it is a) the only one I worked out and b) is a major 'want to see', I have seen one as a child but it is a dim memory, it was in a woodland somewhere in the south and the same day that I saw dippers and a kingfisher.

Hi Claire, Sorry this is nothing about any of the above, but I have Ladybirds breeding in my front garden. They hatch out of their lava and are an orange colour very shinny and wet, when they dry off they seem to turn red with 2 black spots then fly away. I have still got 6 waiting to hatch up to now. I just love them they are facinating.

Ladybirds are insects so they count Ragdoll, so don't worry. They are fascinating little critters as well, I always keep my eyes peeled for them, especially amongst nettles!
