Don't be too disappointed if they don't respond. In spite of several attempts , contacting them through various sources , I never got any information about the ringed Dipper I reported.

Galatas, I am not sure what the BTO could respond to. They will need the ring details before they could give witbob any details. Whenever I have reported a bird I have always got an answer

The bird in question was colour ringed. I supplied a clear photo of the rings and details of the location of the bird. I had replies from the continent (euring.org) and a ringer in Scotland but nothing from the BTO in England or the British coordinator for Dipper ringing whose e-mail I obtained from euring.org.
give them a couple of weeks. i got a detailed and very informative write up from my cirl bunting report. looking at the emails it was 4 weeks but well worth waiting for. x
My first report was sent on the 5th of March. I make that 7 weeks already.
As I said , I had several replies but nothing from the BTO or the UK coordinator for Dipper ringing. It was from a thread on these forums that I found out about euring.org and sent them my initial report. After about two weeks of drawing a blank I looked up the BTO website and found an online form for submitting ring reports. I submitted the details including a full map reference and photo again via that form. Still nothing. Clearly the BTO aren't as efficient as their european counterparts at euring.org who responded within a day or two.
