Hello Folks!Be they big or small, insects are undoubtedly highly fascinating creatures. Chances are wherever you are, whatever you're doing, an insect is not a million miles away and you might not even know it! So what better reason than to have a quiz to see how much you know about them.
Each Monday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify the insect. On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. On Friday I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest.MYSTERY INSECT QUIZ#5Beech duly charter.
Is there such a thing as a churchyard beetle? Gave anagram to Hub and I said possibly beetle & he came up with churchyard not that either of us have heard of one.
Sorry, I suppose getting help with anagram is cheating - but no looking in books or internet:-)

Blimey, best post a clue, where is the day going!!!
Clue: Though my name may suggest I have quiet neighbours, you are more likely to find me in a cave!
Oh, so now an anagram for a bat? Will think about this on my own this time:-)
Hi pudweena bats aren't insects lol
Think you are right with churchyard beetle. anything in a church yard has quiet neighbours
D'oh! - caves, bats, got carried away - forgot about insects, just anagrams - I wish I could learn just to be quiet sometimes:-)
ITs the quiz that does it lol
Got it now. Cheat by Lurch Reed.
Take care all, Stich.

Well I cheated! Looked up churchyard beetle, as don't know it, and found that it's the darkling beetles which I do know! So think that must be right! :-)
