Hello Folks,RSPB reserves are great places for you to get closer to nature. So what better reason than to have a quiz to see how much you know about them. Each Monday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify this RSPB reserve. On Wednesday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. On Friday I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest. Just for fun!: Make sure you keep an note of the first letter of each reserve as the weeks go by, and at the end of week 12, see if you can rearrange all 12 letters to spell out a message about our reserves. Here goes ....MYSTERY RSPB RESERVE#7A great white was seen at long island.

Greart white egret at Leighton Moss but dont know if there is a long island there.
God made this glorious day and overarching sky for lying in the hay and watching birds go by, God made this single day for sinners everwhere, so fill your heart with abandon and drink in the golden air.
I believe I spotted that a GWE was seen at Dungeoness RSPB but whether it was on a 'long island' I don't know
Best wishes Chris

As promised, clue: A tattler with a grey tail was here in eighty one.
Well that's a pretty rare bird in the UK. with the great white bit plus your latest clue for some reason I opt for the Loch of Strathbeg I seem to recall a tattler turned up a while back in that area. but I cannot for the life of me remember if it was on the reserve
