Anyone going birdwatching on Christmas Day

With most people with their familys on Christmas day and having christmas dinner and opening presents, is anyone going birdwatching on Christmas Day?

Regards,

Ian.

  • Hi Ian.

It's a lovely idea, and I'd love to be able to do it, but I'll be so busy on the day and won't have time to do much relaxing.

But, me, hubby and youngest son are off to Norfolk  during the week for a few days to do a bit of birding.

Have a good Christmas and New Year.

  • Hi-

no,  but I'll be trying out some equipment on Boxing day when I do a quick recce around Welney, Denver sluice and Flitcham looking for stake outs for spp.  for my January 1st Big Day list .

During the week I'll probably drop by Titchwell or Holme Golf course and Hunstanton cliffs too.

    - see my other post for details :)

  • Some new bins turned up in my stocking this morning but as I am head chef again I will be reduced to window watching but come Boxing Day who knows what will happen.

I have nothing planned at the moment but have lots planned next year, Norfolk and the likes as I have done for many years.

My new camera will be well broken in soon enough.

Just chilling out at the moment that is the best thing for me, and of course watching the garden birds out of my patio window.instead.
