Hello Folks,Here's something for all you fans of our feathered friends. Each friday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify this bird. The following Monday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. The day after I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest. Here goes ....MYSTERY BIRD #8Eventually my narrow pins might flag.
Another clue?
Yes please Mrs T, not that it will help me as I am stuck on Stilt.

No worries, right here goes - I share where I live with 67 other species of bird, but I'm the only endemic one.
This is not helping me at all! Is it an English bird?
Becca :-)
If Mrs T is running true to form Becca, the answer to that is No! We have been playing with world wide rarities and some of us have resorted to cheating! I am sure Mrs T in her spare time compiles cryptic cross words of the more devious type :)
I'll never get this then!
I barely know English birds let alone anywhere else lol.
Any other clues Mrs T?!
One more and that's it 'til tomorrow! :) English no, but am found on a British overseas territory.
I wish I had the spare time to right cryptic crosswords + am not that clever.
Claire
Found on a certain small Island, that I believe is even more difficult to get to than here Mrs T? and where a certain Frenchman was in residence
Caroline in Jersey
;)
I'm still stuck!
But after Carolines slight clue I think I've narrowed it down to Alderney?!
So now I just need to find a bird that sits on wires in Alderney. I'm desperately trying on this one lol!
