Hello Folks,Here's something for all you fans of our feathered friends. Each friday for 12 weeks, I will be posting a little teaser for you. Without looking in books or on the internet (i.e - no cheating), see if you can identify this bird. The following Monday, so as long as no-one has guessed it, I will post one clue. The day after I will post the answer along with some additional information for your interest. Here goes ....MYSTERY BIRD #5Some may say my beak is not up to the job, but that's a load of rubbish.
Hi Mrs T

Please don't say that, I shall feel guilty, I can see the headlines now 'RSPB moderator causes stress in forum users over quiz' - oh dear me.
Remember a documentry about a parrot that had a nack for opening bags and food containers
It has become very tame but can be a nuisance when chewing rubber round car windows.
I seem to remember it enjoyed sliding on snow but Can't think of the name.
Crossbill is a good answer But mrs T seems to be looking for raraties
