Springwatch has to come to an end once again, how fast did it go this year!!! Some great places with awesome flora and fauna on show and the presenters did a stirling job of pieceing it all together. Now here is a chance to look back on the shows and think about the highlights this year, there are many to choose from, thanks for your suggestions so far, so please find below a poll to select what you think is the stand out moment of Springwatch 2011
And the nominees are...
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
Fair enough..but if it was as natural to them as it is to G.S. woodpeckers...then he wouldnt have had to "train" it (his word) to do that.
Liz at Pitsea, Essex was my highlight especially those foxes last night

Voted for the grumpy teenage Herons! - they made me laugh so much!
Bit sad that all the web cams have been taken off air now the show has finished.
How are we supposed to know what happens with all the creatures we have come to care about :-(
I voted for the grass snake coverage although I found it ironic that the one of the things the buzzards were feeding to the chicks was the grass snakes!!!!! lol.

A very old Shropshire Lad.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series, and don't really have a favourite or a special highlight, would go as far as to say thats its been the best series yet,
I thoroughly enjoyed the series this year except there was not enough diverse content, there was far to much bird content.maybe this was due to its location and hopefully they will return to pensthorp.
If Kate isn't going to be around for AW who is going to be the anchorman or replacement, does anyone know?
My guess for kates replacement on AW could well be Liz Bonnin.
it was hard to make a choice there should have been a place to vote for all of them :), now I don't have anything to rush home for
If only I could be free as the birds the places I could visit would be out of this world
Looks like Liz of the dump is taking the lead! Have YOU voted yet?
