Hey folks,Mammals are truly fascinating creatures, they come in all shapes and sizes and can be found in a whole host of places, each with diverse lifestyles. Over the last 10 weeks, I've been posting a Mystery mammal quiz each week to test your knowledge and to have a bit of fun. Well, I can't believe 10 weeks have flown by already. You've all been absolutely marvelous mammal detectives and to round things off I thought I'd throw in a poll to see what your favourite mystery mammal is. So what's it to be, the furtive Stoat?, the cunning Fox?, the prickly Hedgehog? As well as voting for your favourite critter, when not share any photos or experiences you may have!Enjoy and get voting!ClaireP.S - Results will be posted early next week.
My vote goes for Pine marten! Something I really really hope to see when I go to Scotland end of September! :-)

Ooh! Thank you! Now I feel a little bit more confident about seeing one! lol! Gorgeous photo!
(I would of course have voted for brown hare had it been included!!!)
Cracking photo GrahamC, thanks so much for posting it.
I voted for Pipistrelle Bat, flying mammal, how cool is that. They are just so wonderfully agile + can be found all over the place if you keep looking!!
Had a summer roost in our house when I was a teenager. DH always chats about the time he came home from a late shift + thought I'd locked myself out the house (with a glass of wine in hand!! Lol) there I was watching bats feeding up + down our wee rd!!

Excuse wobbily dyslexic spelling!
Looks like the Pine marten is taking the lead!
I voted for Stoat :-)
The only pic I have of one is a dead one :-(

A very old Shropshire Lad.
Hi ChrisS, at the risk at sounding morbid, as long as its not too gory, do post your picture. Stoats can be quite elusive and hard to see.
Folks it's a tie at present, lets have some more votes!
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!
