How many times have you crept into a hide to find the windows running with condensation? By the time you clear the glass the birds have noticed you and vanished. I've got into the habit of trying to ID the birds before I wipe the glass.!!
Perhaps you could help me out by ID'ing the condensed conundrums for me. Maybe too easy or maybe not, but as always, it's just for fun. Good luck. :-)

These are going to take some working out so will fill in with one or two for now and keep working on them full screen and zoom lol
1) One of the "shanks" lol Green ?
2) Looks like a predator in stance and in your garden so Sprawk ?
3) Water Rail - I see sticky up tail and don't think it's Moorhen !
4) Chunky heavy seabird, hmmmm
5) Bird on right looks like Woodpigeon, but could equally be a duck lol
6) should know this with such angled wings ?
7) male Wheatear - the only one I think I think I know
8) another "shank" type bird lol not a clue !
9) Has a cheek patch like a long-tailed duck and I remember you seeing one lol
10) bird landing like a Puffin but not a clue
11) Got colours like a Shoveler
12) Not the foggiest ! greyish bird on fence post ... hmmm ??
I'll keep working on them

In reply to TeeJay:
Many thanks for the help with the ID’s folks with plenty good guesses from everyone, but some still remain completely condensated with additional rubbing of the glass needed to positively ID them.!!
I’ll leave it a bit yet to see if anyone else feels like giving it a bash, but if not, a few clues could possibly be added. Thanks for being good sports and joining in the fun. :-)
In reply to Paul A:
Doh. Just looking on iPad and I would like to change my fulmar guess to gannet please!
Re my curlew guess, i think that might also be wrong....and puffin.
In reply to Robbo:
Sprawk for "2"
Redshank for "8"
Wheatear for "7"
guesses for the rest, so look forward to clues!!!!
Lot to learn
In reply to gaynorsl:
I really REALLY hate that when you expand a picture for a better look you lose the half finished reply!!!
Anyway, don't have much to add as all my guesses correspond to the answers of others.
1 Greenshank (just cos it's pale!)
2 Sparrowhawk
3 Water Rail
4 Immature gull. I thought Herring, but is the bill too chunky and maybe GBBG?
5 Are there 2? Originally thought lapwing for one but it's way too small if the other's a Woodpigeon
6 Not even 100% sure which way up it is! Can only assume a L or GBBG.
7 Wheatear
8 Can't see enough red for a redshank but can't think of anything else.
9 Long-tailed duck
10 No idea whether auk or duck, especially without looking up underwing patterns!!!
11 Shoveler
12 Cuckoo
I don't think you could say too easy (which might say as much for my ability or lack of), but thanks for the effort of putting it together
