Hi folks. I got some jigsaw puzzles for Christmas but I've accidentally thrown out all of the boxes and now I don't know what the finished article should look like.!! :-( Perhaps you could help me finish the puzzle by working out which type of bird it is so I can look it up in my bird book. I may then be able to complete the jigsaw and then move onto the next one :-) I've managed to complete most of this one so maybe it'll not be as difficult to work out as some of the other ones I've yet to build. Please remember though, it's just for fun.!!

I wish I could help you, Paul. Unfortunately, I don't know my numenius from my arquata.

Looking at the background I'd guess at a wader. Lovely black eye in one of the loose pieces. This is so smart Paul, I don't know how you do it. If I down-load it onto my 3D printer could I put the pieces back in? LOL
Best wishes

Nope, I don't think TJ is right, but I haven't got me 3D printer lined up right!!
Fantastic Hazel, I hadn't noticed that piece :-)
I've put it in place but am still unsure of the type of bird.!!
I can feel my pallor changing with the slightest hint of envy at your fantastic knowledge of scientific names Tony :-)
I can't get my head round how a normal printer works, far less a 3D one.!!
Sandpiper of some type .. Green or Curlew??
Stabs in the dark 'cos I 've only got a normal type printer!!
You really have to keep up with the times Wendy! LOL! They make cakes now, you just send the recipe & out it pops!
I think Green Sandpiper because of it's short yellow/green legs. However the bit on the back looks significant & could change my mind!
I'll have Almond shortcake biccies with extra nuts & choc chips please H! Tout suite, par avion, merci!
After much discussion we (had to get hubby in on this not to take all the blame) have decided it is a common curlew.
Lot to learn
