An easy one this time. Which is the odd one out?
My bird photos HERE
Crikey Paul. I nearly went cross-eyed. Mine's a pint of Bass, very Tystie, very very Tystie.

Think I have it Paul, it is the 5th one, 3rd row up, left hand side beside the big chunky one and the little scrawny one. Am I right!!! He he!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I'm not looking, just not looking!!!!!! And don't you dare ask for a count either :)
Lot to learn
I see it ... but only after TJ's big hint!!

Well done TJ for correctly finding the oddity, a rouge Black Guillemot ( or Tystie as they’re also known). It had somehow managed to find a wee ledge to call its own.
Well done to all of for trying this (or even just looking before giving up), I happened across it purely by chance as I was looking at the photo.
Wendy; you say that got the answer, but going by past performances I now reluctantly find myself wondering.!! It could conceivably take another few years before the trust is back to the same level as it was before the ‘unfortunate incident’.!! I still have pains in my chest when I think about it.!! :-)

You .... Odd ..... Nooooo.!! .... OK . .. maybe just a wee bit.!! :-)
Catlady; the bird you describe does have a missing tai feather, very well spotted.!!
Gaynor; 545 if you really must know.!!
Well found all, but that's no Tystie! It's a Common Guillemot.

Thanks for the correct ID Aiki :-) I had initially thought that it didn't look quite right for a BG but the white patch which appears to be on the wing had convinced me otherwise. I was actually quite chuffed as I'd never seen a Black Guillemot at the Bass rock. Turns out I still haven't seen a Black Guillemot at the Bass Rock. :-(
The white bit's the side of the chest - you can see the bend of the top of the wing sitting against it :) A Tystie would be a heck of a good find on Bass Rock!
Oh, you spoiled my rather lame joke, aiki. LOL
Not sure I can work murre into it. Had me fooled but then that's easily done.
