Once again, it’s time for MrsT’s quizzes to branch out and spread their roots, and this round... you’ve guessed it, its trees! They help regulate our climate and provide food and shelter for a whole host of animals as well as providing us with a variety of resources, we might otherwise take for granted. Let’s face it, what wood (pun intended) the world be without trees? They come in all shapes and sizes, as do the leaves and fruit that they bare and yes, I was one of those kids who loved the school trip to Westonbirt Arboretum. For the next 12 weeks, I will leaf you with a clue or two about trees for you to mulch over.EnjoyMYSTERY TREE QUIZ #4Clue: Back from Hades.

Thanks for getting us back on track Hazy, forgot we were supposed to trace a mystery tree !! Still pretty lost though.
Hello Hazel,
you seem to think that "Taxus baccata" could have anything to do with Dionysus, whose latin name is "Bacchus"? You could be right! One Version of his life tells he could have been the son of Persephone, who was the wife of Hades, the highest god of the greek underworld. Nevertheless, I keep sticking to "aspen", at least until tomorrow. I am looking forward to Mrs T's next hint! Good night to all of you! Tomorrow evening I am going to have another look.

I was a bit tongue in cheek with the Taxus Baccata (Yew) but hubby told me something about the link with Persephone who was taken to the underworld and became the wife of Hades when I mentioned it to him .....wouldn't it be ironical if that wild guess was right lol
Clue: Don’t panic, keep calm!
