Welcome to the RSPB Communities Christmas Advent calendar! Rather than chocolates (sorry), with each day that leads up to the big day, why not open a virtual Advent calendar window and reveal a teaser for you to ponder or post a picture. There is no right or wrong answer, the answers will simply be what you want to appear in that window. It’s Christmas, so let’s have some fun!Claire
Dragonflies of any sort are always nice to see I agree
But there's something magical about clouds of Swallowtails fluttering around a garden

Day 19:Favourite season for wildlife?
Sorry for delay got a house full of poorly people and rushed off feet with nursemaid duties.....
Ooh! As I love Inverts, it's got to be spring!
(Hope you don't have to be a nursemaid for too long...)

Spring for me too for all the kerfuffle of mating birds (especially Kestrels) & waiting for first fledglings!!
Spring for me. It is so exciting; the days are getting longer and warmer, the birds are looking and sounding wonderful, trees and plants are budding and blossoming and I am on the bird identifier trying to remember the different warbler songs! Hope your nursing duties soon ease off, Mrs T.

I agree Springtime with all the new bird life, as well as bulbs appearing and the trees & shrubs getting their new leaves :) However, I can't write off winter totally as we see more birds during this colder period and some of these frosty but clear mornings with blue sky are wonderful when out walking :)

Ooooh, tough one! Summer, long days, nightjars churring, glow worms and bats...
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
I'm going to be different, I love the Spring & the return of all the migrators, but Summer is best with long hot days chasing butterflies & other insects with my camera. I love the baby birds coming around too. Anyway, I'm wildlife & I love the sun!!
Best wishes

That's really touch, but I'd have to say spring, bulbs coming up, blossom, first signs of life, bird song, etc, etc.
Late winter/early spring - because that's when I go somewhere tropical to get warm and see exotic wildlife ;-)
