Once again, it’s time for MrsT’s quizzes to branch out and spread their roots, and this round... you’ve guessed it, its trees! They help regulate our climate and provide food and shelter for a whole host of animals as well as providing us with a variety of resources, we might otherwise take for granted. Let’s face it, what wood (pun intended) the world be without trees? They come in all shapes and sizes, as do the leaves and fruit that they bare and yes, I was one of those kids who loved the school trip to Westonbirt Arboretum. For the next 12 weeks, I will leaf you with a clue or two about trees for you to mulch over.EnjoyMYSTERY TREE QUIZ #3Clue: Soft, strong and very long.
Suggest that it's possible we're being led into blind alley here!
Mrs T, devious soul that she is, boxing clever & knowing that we'll all instantly make a connection to soft toilet rolls & even softer puppies....possibly no connection!

Aaaahhh puppies! :) Andrex have got a lot to answer for. I blame them for my dog's fascination with the cardboard tubes in toilet rolls. She loves shreading them, all over the lounge floor.....
Clue on wednesday!
I think between us we've named many of the British native trees. Hopefully, one of us has got it right by this scatter gun approach but whom or will it be something completely different. Mrs Tease may have a trick or two up her sleeve.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
There's bound to be a clue in Mrs Tease's (aptly named so by TJ) last two posts but my brain won't compute
Lol S - is tripe a sort of tree?!
It it included species of tree outside UK I would have said Paper Bark tree - that covers length, Andrex toilet roll and being 20+m tree ( and even a puppy with the bark bit) lol
Think we're all needing straight-jackets again !
