As I've mentioned in other threads, Mrs WJ and I were away last week on the North Norfolk coast. As usual, far too many pics were taken, many rubbish. As I was sorting them out, I found a couple that I thought I'd put on the "Bad pics of Fab wildlife" thread - then thought of an alternative.
Here are a number of pictures - your mission, should you choose to accept it - is to work out just what each one is a picture of. Some are easy, some are harder. I'll post the answer pictures in a day or two. Good luck!
#1 - two parts - what are they (that's easy) and how many are there??
#2 - what is it?
#3 - the wings of what?
#4 - bit harder this one - what is it?
#5 - I know it's a Mallard - but what's he after under the water?
#6 - what is it?
#7 - what's behind the wave?

Hi Joe. Going to have a stab at No1. Not up to much on waders so will probably get part #1 wrong...!!
#1 - Golden Plover
#2 - 563..ish.. excluding the bird I have indicated which I would very much appreciate it if you could identify it for me.
Also think there may be a slight showing of the outer left wing of a female Grey Wagtail behind bird #261..!!

LOL! Good guess, but nope :-)

Nope, I'm pretty sure that's the same as all the rest, though I do think you may be correct about the wagtail!
#1, 2 & 3 are looking far too easy, looks like the others may be a bit difficult :-)
#5 - reckon there's a poor female under there!!

Another very tongue in cheek guess at the answers:
1) agree with Golden Plovers (guestimate of 580)
2) Ruff (but can't remember what one looks like lol )
3) Arctic Tern
4) Gull of some sort
5) Jellyfish lol
6) Kestrel crash landing ;) or a Great Skua
7) A small grey seal
