Hello were new to this but are delighted to share that over the last 48 hrs we have had two Redwings and a fieldfare in our garden here in Bo'ness
We have 2 redwings in our garden in North London at the foot of Alexandra Palace. First time. I had thought there was somewhere you could register sightings like this?
A big welcome to you both ;) I have had a Feikdfare in my garden for the first time on its own for the last few days, did think that i had seen a mate with it but sadly not seen the other 1 since. Well spotted to you both also ;).

If it aint broken, dont fix it !.... all good things come to those who wait !
Welcome both from me also. There certainly are a huge number of sightings of both birds this winter.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Welcome to you both from me too!

Hello papapeteuk, I haven't seen a mistle thrush in our garden for a long time now, so I am so jealous.

Hallo! I have a small flock (about 12) fieldfares and what looks like a pair of redwings visiting my garden at Archway, just off the Holloway Road (A 1). I've never seen any before and they seem to be very keen on the orangey/red berries of the Sorbus trees. Are they winter visitors? Where from?!
Hi Catmac and welcome! They come from Scandinavia mainly I think!
Welcome to all the newbies from me too!
Redwings occur from all around Europe, breed in North & East Europe, winters in North & South Europe and as MarJus has mentioned vast numbers from Scandinavia.
