Hi I have been an rspb member for a while but have only just joined the forum today. Having read quite a few posts it seems like the kind of place I want to be. Happy New Year to one and all. :)
Hello Cuddicat, lovely to see you are joining us. Enjoy.
Welcome Cuddicat! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here! :-)

Hi Cuddicat, good to have you join us.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Cuddicat
Welcome to the forum. It's a good place to be on a cold snowy afternoon or indeed any time.

Thank you all for the very warm welcome. It certainly has made a cold snowy day feel much better. I'm no bird expert and can only recognise the most common ones but I love watching them all.

I wouldn't worry as there are a lot of us on here exactly at the same level. You'd be amazed though how much you will learn when reading the threads of those that do know, it's been a real help to me personally.
Hi Cuddicat,
Kezmo is absolutely right, and I am one of those on a similar level to you, but since joining this forum I have learnt so much, and can now add several more bird ID's to my repertoire, and am even finding birds in my garden that I didn't know existed before!!!!!
Cheers, Linda.

Welcome aboard! Whereabouts in Cheshire? (I'm going to take a wild guess at Cuddington ;)). We're in Winsford.

how did you guess :))
We have the cattery. Luckily my own cats are a bit too long in the tooth now to chase our feathered friends but they do still catch the odd mouse,
