Drat!!!!!!
Many thanks for the information John - at least I know now for the future.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Welcome Neil! Welcome Nick!Great pic John!

Thank you Neil and John - (great picture),
That's good news. I often have squisshy bananas. But my blackbirds are peculiar. They don't like apples. I'll try plums and bananas. At least the starlings will eat them.
Does anyone know if they like tomatoes? I threw some out yesterday and did wonder, but was worried in case I poisoned them!
Cheers, Linda.

I was in my brother's garden last summer when I noticed a song thrush. I threw down a piece of soft banana, which the thrush then fed to her chick, which was hiding. That is how I learnt that thrushes eat banana !
Blackbirds loved my sonssquished / left over raspberry crumble from Food Tech lesson (they're obviously not as picky as me) and strawberries that have turned a bit mushy too.
