Hello all. I have enjoyed dipping into your interesting forums and am sure I'll learn a lot here.
Today I saw a bullfinch in my garden quite close to the house.Sadly it flew away before I could get my camera but at least I had the thrill of seeing it. The last time one visited was last winter, so wonderful to see it!
Hi Feathers, we always see bullfinch in the garden but never tire of seeing them. Hope it becomes a permanent visitor.

Hi Feathers and welcome. How wonderful to have a bullfinch visit. They seem to be becoming a more regular sight now but I've not had one visit me yet so, like Sparrow, it is on my wish list.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Feathers, Welcome to the forum.

Hi Feathers.
Welcome to the site, I'm new too. I've never seen a bullfinch before, lucky you. My Dad has seen them whilst travelling around Britain. Hopefully it will bring some friends & become a permanent visitor.
Hi Feathers! I haven't seen a bullfinch in the garden for some time now. I'm jealous of yours!
