Hi everyone.
I hope to expand my knowledge somewhat, listening to you learned folk. I live in the countryside of Herefordshire and absolutely love it. For a council estate boy from Birmingham, this part of the world has been like a mecca for me. I've always loved wildlife and now I can see a wide variety of it just by stepping out into my garden. It's a pity I can't make the garden as wildlife friendly as I'd like, but I'll just have to read about your gardens and bask in your reflected glory! Nice to meet you all.

Hi Corriepaw and welcome
I, too, am no expert but I am learning a lot here and also picking up useful tips. This is a great forum to pool knowledge, make friends and share experiences. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi there!
Herefordshire is a lovely part of the world, lucky you! Is there a reason why you can't make your garden more wildlife friendly? I'm sure there will be lots of suggestions if you let people know your situation!
