I have only just joined the community so I do not know what it is all about yet. I joined the RSPB over 40 years ago. Although I do not call myself a twitcher I love watching the bird and wildlife where ever I go and I have now got my family very much interested. earlier this summer we all spent the day at Slimbridge. A really good day out with plenty to see and do, well worth the entry fee.
I look forward to chatting with other wildlife lovers

Hi John
How lovely to see Slimbridge mentioned. I come (originally) from the Bath area and Slimbridge was (at least) a twice yearly family day out when I was little, I have not been for a number of years now but OH and I hope to visit again before too long.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hello Tiger or anyone, I have been a member for many years, and used to post questions etc. on the 'old' forum site. My name is Marian
I want to 'talk' about a butterfly but can't see where I start a new discussion-or ask a butterfly

Hi Tiger, I,am new to the community . I joined yesterday . I have managed to put some photos on to the Wildlife Gallery and on to the Landscape gallery. On my page there is a gallery called "My Gallery" do you have to upload to there separately? Also the" up date message" how does this work? Lastly, for now, how does one add friends? I have seen the buttn "add friend" but how can one be sure the person wishes to be called your friend? Hope you can understand these garbled questions.
Hope to hear from you
Sacha
Bye for now
