Jackdaws In The Chimney

Hii Everybody

I recently moved to a house where there are Jackdaws living in my chimey pots.  The house is hundreds of years old and there is a big cluster of tall trees in the garden of the house opposite and theese birds appear to be living in a big colony and have spread to my chimney pots and have most probably been in residence for many years.  I've booked  a chimney weep for the end of October to cap off the chimney pots and put a cowl on one but I would like any advice on whether the Jackdaws would be likley to rehome themselves elsewhere or whether I could get some suitable bird boxes to help them although I would need to think about where I could put them.  Any advice or links would be very welcome.
