Hello, we have recently had a pair of nesting Kites appear two doors away in some very high trees. At first we were happy to hear the lovely whistle that they make.. But we are very worried that all of the black birds, Robins bluetits and even crows seem to have disappeared.. Is this normal. They took over a lage crow population.
Red kites are more of a threat to earthworms than the birds you list, although they are known to take corvid nestlings from exposed nests. Enjoy your proximity to red kites.
