Got to Rye Meads as they opened and had the place to myself. This included a close encounter with a Marsh Warbler and seeing a grass snake swimming by. Also seen was the lapwing chicks getting bigger and a long tail tit.
Could also be a Reed Warbler not a Marsh Warbler
Can't help with the ID, but a lovely set. Never seen a grass snake swimming before :o)
Great captures, last two pics look like Whitethroat to me, but can't ID the back view one with outstretched wings!
