i have a bird box and some great tits have created a nest and laid arround 8 eggs. we saw both birds coming and going for months now and it is now the time for the mother to sit on the eggs. Today we have seen two of the same birds flying arround near the box but there is still a bird in the box sitting on the eggs. does this mean the father has found a new partner or could there be a different bird in the box? thank you
Is there a camera inside the box?
no unfortunately not
Ok thanks. How are you estimating how many eggs there are, and whether it is at incubating stage?
SW bird box is related to the above post.
