Good Morning
Hoping that someone with more experience can confirm if these are Linnets? Apologies for quality of some of the photos but didn't get a chance to take any better ones as they soon flew off! I've included the very poor shot of the back of one of the birds for the colours and tail shape. Any comments appreciated.
I asked Google Lens and it said Linnet with Twite as a second choice but am sure others with more knowledge will add their comments soon!

Thanks Wendy - I did compare to a Twite and was unable to tell them apart myself! The 3rd photo you can see there is a russet-y colour on the front and this made me think they could be Linnets. There were around 3 or four in a group but I wasn't fast enough to get any really good photos.
Hopefully someone will come on and ID for you ... ITM, did you see this site?
