Hi, we’ve had to rescue a blackbird fledging as my neighbours dog had gotten to it and it pushed itself though the fence into our garden. We picked it up with gloves and luckily no visible injuries. We’ve placed it in a box with hamster bedding but we are unsure what to do. Ever since the dog, we have not seen or heard parents at all. And usually they have been pretty vocal. We couldn’t leave it in the garden as it was in open sight and we also have a dog. All help is appreciated thank you!
Hi, try contacting this website tomorrow for more expert advice ... if you are keeping it in a box overnight do offer some water and maybe a little wet dogfood, but the water is most important
