Hi there from the Scottish Borders.
As the title suggests we have a severe lack of smaller birds visiting our garden infact I haven't seen any at all despite trying various feeders with peanuts, seeds and suet balls.
We do have quite a lot of noisey Crows and Magpies that visit and perform all sorts of acrobatics on the feeders....There aren't any hedgerows or trees in the direct vicinity of our garden which is mostly hard landscaped but with patio potted plants and a raised vegetable bed and hanging baskets, although there are some hedgerows etc a short walk from our house and we can hear the chirping from the chafinch's there.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
