Hi. Could anyone advise me please. I have a bird box with camera for three years and this is the first time we have action! Unfortunately over the last few days the camera has moved and is only getting the very edge of the nest. I was going to try and adjust it tonight but fortunately noticed a tiny shadow of movement indicating the bird is roosting there now (she wasn’t before). Therefore don’t want to disturb her. Would it be safe to adjust if tomorrow during the day when I know the birds are both out of the box? Or would this put them off their nest? Any advice would be appreciated. TIA
If this is a new nest that has been built then legally you are not allowed to interfere with it in any way ... it may be different if the bird is only roosting overnight and gone all day ... wait for others to comment
