Morning all, just joined and look forward to photos and discussions. Yesterday a Gold Crest visited my garden. Last time I saw one here was 1997! Managed to get a photo which I have yet to download to computer. I use a Mirrorless Sony A6000. When I have down loaded will post.
Morning Annette, welcome from up at the very top of Scotland. A very nice visitor to have. Not one I have seen here. We had a huge update here a few weeks ago, not for the better, now slowly things are being changed back, to make life a lot easier for everyone, stick with it. We have lost many regular posters, so it can be a bit quiet at times and with the Osprey season underway, many follow that, so not a lot of posting on other threads, enjoy.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Hi Annette and welcome to the forum, we would be very pleased to see your Goldcrest pic and any others you may wish to share!

It seems like I need a lot of background on this, so I appreciate you giving it to me. geometry dash breeze
Hi Lance, this little bird is native to U.K. weigh 6g. Wingspan 14cm. Only 9cm in length. They eat tiny morsels such as spiders, moth eggs, and other small insects. Their tiny sharp beaks are good for digging out insects in fir cones. Hope this is helpful
