Mark Avery has been reminiscing from 50 years ago an early bird book in the early 1970’s ans the state of birdwatching then compared to now. Of course I can go back even earlier to to the late 1950’s with my birdbook and others on this forum even earlier. Here is Mark Avery’s post on Twitter.
