  • Nice photo Linda with the lighting and colours. Very hard frost here, but the sun is out and it is dissapearing quickly!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • I think if we had snow like that now Mike, the world would come to end end!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • No snow here just hard frost and -1°c to start a very cold day, very unusual for the far SE in December!

  • Very hard frost here tonight again, was -5 last night around 7pm, cold enought to be the same now.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • We have rain here for the next three days but it has brought higher temps with it, have to be grateful for that when seeing so much snow & ice in other regions! Grinning

  • Yesterday morning the thermometer reading from the digital display in the car was -9. It crept up to -7.

This morning it was snow shovels to get out.

Then warmer temps and rain did some defrosting.
  • We had a wee bit of snow here yesterday, (Sun 3rd Dec)

It was at its best before sunrise, cos the rain came and washed it all away.

BTW, I'm searching for an Ark, cos it ain't stopped rainin' since!   Flushed

Although I’ve posted links about the winter of 1962-1963. This was a one off Winterwatch Special in 1963 presented by Chris Packham about the 1962-1963 big freeze and how that winter affected the UK’s wildlife. I just hope we never have another winter like the 1962-1963 which lasted just short of 3 months. 10 weeks in total and I was 10 years old that winter.

    Regards,

    Ian.
